RAY M45

RAY M45

Dual SIM phone for people on a shoestring budget

Inexpensive, good build and finish, decent display quality, plenty of features, good battery life

Looks dull and boring, unattractive UI design, poor multimedia performance

Write Review:
The RAY M45 is a cheap dual SIM phone from RAY. In case you don't know what RAY is, it is a Chinese brand that is being distributed in India through Mobile Store. The M45 comes with two slots for GSM SIM cards, so you don't need to carry two phones with you. It also has a 176 x 220 pixel display, 2 megapixel camera, music player, expandable memory, FM radio, Bluetooth and a lot more.

Hardware

The RAY M45 has a very basic, almost utilitarian design. It seems the designers focused more on the functionality of the handset rather than the aesthetics. It has a very serious, square design. On the front side we can see the earpiece at the top with the phone's display right below it. Although nothing spectacular, the quality of the display was quite good for the price. Below the display is the phone's keypad. The keypad is fairly large and the keys are spacious enough to type comfortably. The keypad has two call keys for each SIM card. It is lit evenly by a blue backlight.

Along the sides we can find the miniUSB port placed on the left side and the 3.5mm headphone jack placed awkwardly on the right side. On the top are the holes to attach your lanyard or wrist strap. But the holes are a bit too small, so you are going to have a tough time squeezing the thread through. Also found at the bottom of the phone is the microphone hole.
