Ecet 2010 results were released on Monday. Students who have qualified are eligible to join directly into the 2nd year engineering courses through lateral entry mode. Total 18,264 students registered to exam, 17,199 appeared and 16,385 students qualified in exam. K.K. Omprakash from Kurnool get the top spot by scoring 173 marks in electronics and communication engineering stream. P.V.V.K.S. Ganesh from Vishakapatnam topped in he chemical engineering stream by scoring 166 marks. K. Chaitanya, also from Vishaka, topped the electrical and electronics engineering stream with 159 marks.
In the civil engineering stream, C.B. Shankar Rao from East Godavari scored 154 marks while in the pharmacy stream Mr S.B.N. Kumar from Kakinada get 153 marks. Department of technical education has decided to conduct web-based counselling for admissions between July 3 and July 8 for the qualified students. The schedule for certificate verification will be announced soon.
