Special Correspondent TIRUPATI: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Sunday asserted that his government’s first priority was Jalayagnam, the flagship programme of his government conceived to complete the various pending irrigation projects in the State so as to bring more area under plough.
In an informal chat with mediapersons shortly after his arrival here tonight, Dr. Reddy said Handri-Neeva and Galeru-Nagari irrigation projects would be completed as per the time-frame fixed.
TransparencyDr. Reddy also said that he would give priority to increase transparency in the implementation of various welfare and social security schemes.
